Jonny Blair Poetry: Coronavirus Era (March 2020)

As Coronavirus hit Europe badly in March 2020, I have spent 19 days of March at home in my flat in Warszawa. Does this mean I wrote more poems and lyrics? NO.

The reason is because most of my writing is done outside my flat, I write about life out in the world, things I see. March 2020 I only penned a hat-trick of new poems. I’ve written less. But on the flipside, I now plan to release all my old 1000+ poems and lyrics on here before whacking them intill a book at some point.

I will release them later, they draw on Crowded House song “Isolation” for inspiration. I have given up alcohol at the moment and the first song is about that freedom.

None of these lyrics even particularly reflect Coronavirus or the need to stay at home.
